Le Kino Kabaret de Porquerolles se déroule sur une semaine découpée en trois sessions de 48h chacune, intégralement dédiées au tournage, à la fabrication et à la projection des films réalisés in-situ.Des concerts gratuits sont organisés les soirs sans projections et des artistes viennent exposer leurs oeuvres et animer des ateliers tout au long de la semaine.Le premier Kino Kabaret de Porquerolles fut crée en 2014 dans le cadre des 15 ans de la création du mouvement Kino ainsi qu'en la mémoire de Jean-Pierre Lazzerini.

The Kino Kabaret of Porquerolles takes place on the island for a whole week. It consists in three separate 48 hours sessions entirely dedicated to shooting, editing and finally projecting the Kinos made on the island.
Several artists will exhibit their work and organize working groups all along the week, and free concerts are scheduled between every projection nights.
The very first Kino Kabaret of Porquerolles occured in 2014 both in memory of Jean-Pierre Lazzerini and to celebrate the 15th birthday of the Kino movement.
Le Kino c'est quoi ?
Le Kino est un mouvement créé à Montréal en 1999 dans le but de promouvoir une voie de production alternative et d'encourager la production et la diffusion d'oeuvres cinématographiques
indépendantes et originales.Il s'agit de se réunir pour réaliser un ou plusieurs courts-métrages dans un laps de temps assez court sur la période d'un festival appelé Kino Kabaret.
What about Kino?
The Kino mouvement has been made in Montreal in1999 as a means to promote independent and alternative film production. It aims at gathering people from many different backgrounds and having them create one or several short films in a period of less than 48h... This is Kino Kabaret.
Tout le monde peut participer.C'est justement le principe du Kino. Chacun peut venir avec ses compétences, connaissances, materiel, etc, pour participer directement ou indirectement à la réalisation d'un court-métrage.

Everyone can join in and share one's own skills, knowledge and gear with the others, and then take part of a Kino as a director or an actor.
